28 Weeks later: Vita + Sale!

The irony isn't lost on us that it's "28 Weeks Later" and A Virus Named TOM is still contagious. As a matter of fact, AVNT will be infecting the Sony Vita and PlayStation Mobile certified devices this summer! To celebrate the impending doom, AVNT will be 50% off on Steam and at aVirusNamedTom.com for our 28th week (Friday - Friday: Feb 15-21). So if you're loved one wasn't happy with their chocolates and flowers, give them a virus!

The PSM version will have some new levels & features in store for you. We haven't completely figured everything out yet, but we're excited about adding touch controls for tablets & phone, and even some multiplayer possibilities :D

We're hoping to have something ready to show by PAX East and GDC, so if you're going to either drop us a line and we'll get it in front of you!

  1. I am excited to hear it's coming to the Vita. Please make sure it is the first EVER PSMobile game to feature PSN Trophies (the Highly-requested feature).

  2. Thanks! I'll see if that's supported yet, and if no then why :)

  3. I can't wait to play the new levels! Will it be an expanded campaign, or will some levels be replaced? About how many new levels are you aiming for?

  4. We'll be replacing some levels because some may not work well on a small screen, and some may not work well on touch devices. The dexterity mechanics may have to change a bit. Lots of things to discover with new inputs etc, should be fun :D

  5. I hope Sony is paying for this, as apparently most PSM sales are dismal.

  6. Doh, well hopefully as more titles launch on PSM the sales will pick up.

    1. It's been kindof a crazy journey. We were originally PSM, then Vita Native, and on and on. We're really hoping to submit a final build in the next month or two and get AVNT Vita out. Sorry for the delay, and thanks for caring!
