So we're happy with how sales are going, but we have a ways to go before we fill back in the giant hole in our savings. However, we want to add some of the features that we always intended to put in A Virus Named TOM, but ran out of money before we could implement. The solution: Kickstarter. Basically we're trying to gauge what features we should include in a kickstarter campaign to make sure we hit our funding goal (some features are more expensive than others). Yep, all the gameplay is there, but I haven't done video game networking code yet and I'm told it's not something to take lightly. Hopefully we can figure out a way to do updates so our awesome community can help us put it through it's paces :)
That's my thought. I sadly haven't used steam workshop much but it seems perfect for sharing levels. If we exceed our funding goal I'd love to integrate some of the level sharing into the game in some way. Also, silly idea: co-operative level creation? :)
